Kestrel Count 2011

In 1988 London Wildlife Trust carried out a survey of kestrels that showed them to be living across London, including right in the city centre.

The records submitted by you in this survey, along with the base line data already collected, will allow us to build up a picture of any changes in kestrel numbers in London over the last 23 years; nationally kestrels are declining, and anecdotally this picture is reflected in London too
