Spring Wildlife Survey

With Camden Spring Watch you can get involved in recording wildlife across the borough. There are two surveys one for spring and one for autumn, highlighting the types of wildlife you are most likely to see at the onset of each respective season.  You can record the wildlife you see in your garden, on your street, in your local park or nature reserve – or anywhere!  Just tell us what you see, where, and when.  We will use the information collected to help us build a picture of wildlife across the borough so that we can better protect our biodiversity.

You can download a paper form to take out with you when recording.  If you take photos of the wildlife you spot, you can upload these at the end of the online form.

You can find out more about Camden’s biodiversity and how to get involved in the Camden Biodiversity Action Plan

Records are entered into the Greenspace Information for Greater London CIC (GiGL) database on behalf of the London Borough of Camden. GiGL asks for your contact details should they wish to follow up your sighting now or in the future. Records are available to Camden and via GiGL for other users who have signed data use agreements for their own work. Species data will be uploaded to the National Biodiversity Network Atlas by GiGL.
