The London Borough of Lambeth adopted its Local Plan in 2015, to be used for the next 15 years, until 2030. This document lays out planning policies to guide development in the area. Lambeth is an inner London borough that borders the Thames and reaches an area of over 2,500 hectares. There are 45 SINCs (Sites of Importance for Nature Conservation) that the borough has designated. Lambeth works in partnership with GiGL and is a core member of the London Boroughs Biodiversity Forum (LBBF), which discusses information and good practice related to biodiversity and open spaces in London.
