Amenity grassland is present throughout the site and includes perennial rye grass, red fescue, yarrow, Yorkshire fog, creeping buttercup, white clover, docks, cut-leaf cranesbill, annual wall rocket, petty spurge, and dandelion. A small area is uncut and has similar species diversity to the mowed areas. Areas of introduced shrub can be found in the formal beds, predominantly in the northern limit of the site. Species include garden privet, lilac, pampas-grass, red hot poker and Japanese anemone. Dense scrub is present along the south western boundary, with bramble, elder, blackthorn, gorse, hawthorn and ivy. There are opportunities to enhance the site through shrub and wildflower planting.
