Harringay Stadium was once a greyhound and speedway racing venue. It was demolished in 1987, along with the ice rink and boxing arena next door. Today all that remains is a steep bank behind the houses on Finsbury Park Avenue.

Description
Wildlife
This bank supports a mosaic of sycamore woodland, rough grassland and scrub of hawthorn, bramble and elder. The highly poisonous plant deadly nightshade also occurs here, and is thankfully scarce in London. The grassland on the south-facing slope is good for butterflies and supports a colony of common blues.Facilities
