Description

North Bank is a small park where mature woodland has developed from former ornamental plantings. Probably the oldest tree in the borough of Haringey, a horse chestnut around 300 years old, is found here. The northern part of the site, surrounding Muswell Hill Methodist Church, is freely accessible to the public. A private tennis club occupies the southern part.

Wildlife

Mature trees include pedunculate oak, common lime, sycamore, hornbeam and beech. The ground flora beneath the trees is dominated by bramble and cow parsley, and also includes pendulous sedge and garlic mustard.
