Description

This site lies alongside the eastern branch of the Pyl Brook, between the railway line from Sutton and where it flows beneath Epsom Road (A24) to enter Morden Park. The site is a Local Nature Reserve managed by London Wildlife Trust, best viewed from the footpath running between Holne Close and Rutland Drive, which crosses the brook on a footbridge. Most of the site is a Local Nature Reserve.

Wildlife

The reserve is now largely wooded, but includes some low-lying damp ground at its eastern end, with rushes and developing wet woodland. The London Wildlife Trust has created two ponds to enhance the wetland habitats.
