Description

Haig Homes were established after the First World War to provide housing assistance to ex-Service people andor their dependants. They have estates throughout the United Kingdom, including a number in Morden.

Wildlife

Just across the road from Morden Park and St Lawrence's Churchyard, the grounds of this particular estate have gardens more like an arboretum. A variety of mature trees and shrubs from around the world are found here, as well as a number of native species, particularly, yew, oak and ash. The gardens are very attractive to a variety of common garden birds.
