This site has small areas of woodland, and wasteland/open grassland which includes an attractive variety of flora. There are two blocks of woodland, including a significant wooded screen against Goat Road, that contain sycamore (Acer pseudoplatanus), ash (fraxinus excelsior), crack willow (Salix fragilis), poplars (Populus spp.) and hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna), supporting breeding birds including several species of warblers. The attractive flowery grassland includes birdsfoot trefoil (Lotus corniculatus), wild carrot (Daucus carota), common knapweed (Centaurea nigra), common St John's wort (hypericum perforatum), oxeye daisy (Leucanthanum vulgare), and, most notably, a small population of bee orchids (Ophrys apifera) has been previously recorded.
