Wildlife
The canopy is dominated by oak, with some coppiced hornbeam and sweet chestnut and a little silver birch. A patchy shrub layer includes elder, holly and elm with honeysuckle and bramble below. A ditch and bank, probably an ancient boundary feature, runs through the wood.Facilities
