The Litten Nature Reserve is a little gem hidden away in Greenford, West London. The site has a classroom for local schools and the community to meet by arrangement. The Reserve has three ponds, two natural which tend to fill in the winter & dry out in the summer. The other small pond is near the Education Building and is used for pond dipping. The main trees in the reserve are the English Peduncular Oak & Ash. A line of Oaks (from a former hedgerow) are of particular wildlife value as they are hundreds of years old. The site is only accessible on open days and via prior arrangement.
