Trent Country Park has over 400 acres of meadow, woodland and lakes, including a water garden. It served as royal hunting grounds for over 400 years and was enjoyed by Henry VIII, Elizabeth I and James I. Camlet Moat in Trent Park is one of the borough’s five scheduled ancient monuments. There are dedicated walking, cycling and horse-riding routes, as well as picnic and barbeque areas. The Swiss Lodge Visitor Centre provides information, guided walks and a cafeteria.
