Clayhall Park was purchased by the local authority in the mid 1920’s and opened to the public as a formal park in 1934. The park is ideally located in a residential area and close to local transport links. There are a broad range of facilities on site, including cricket and football pitches for hire, tennis courts and an under 13’s children’s play area. Clayhall Bowls Club are also based here and retain one rink for public use. The park has ample space for informal recreation and attractively landscaped areas for quiet contemplation.
