There is something for everyone at Goodmayes Park and Extension, with children’s play facilities, sports pitches, lawn bowling, picnic areas and a trim trail. The park includes picturesque tree lined avenues and views across the lake. You can also access Goodmayes Lane Allotments from Goodmayes Extension. The park was opened in 1905 by the Chairman of the Ilford Parks Committee after the land was gifted to the Council by local MP, Cameron Corbett. At the time this park was described as a ‘pretty sister’ to nearby South Park.
