Created in memory of East End residents killed in the Second World War, the Hermitage Riverside Memorial Garden sits on the former site of Hermitage Wharf with views of Tower Bridge and the Shard. The site is a modern landscaped garden with areas of grass, shrubs and raised beds and a large memorial sculpture of a dove.
