Wildlife

The site includes amenity grassland to the east with some more neutral meadow to the west, which provides habitat for the brown argus butterfly and other invertebrates. The beech are mature and provide good habitat for birds and bats. Common and soprano pipistrelle bats are known from the site, as well as noctules.
