Description

Greenhill Gardens is an attractive little park for a quiet stroll. The present park is what remains of a once much bigger country estate. Its most significant feature is a large ornamental lake, with a small wooded island.

Wildlife

Alder and willow trees fringe the lakeshore. The lake supports mallard, mute swan, coot and moorhen, and pipistrelle and noctule bats have been observed foraging overhead. Siskins have been spotted feeding on the alder seeds in wintertime.
