A municipal park incorporating a stream and associated wetland set within amenity grassland and trees. The Spring Brook was restored in 2000 from a concrete channel to a natural meandering course with sloping, grassy banks. A pond was also created at the same time. This is a good example of river restoration by the Environment Agency.

Wildlife
This site has potential to support a range of insects and wetland vegetation, which will increase interest in an otherwise urbanised neighbourhood. The associated flora include marsh marigold, great reedmace and remote sedge. An off-channel pond, created at the time of the river restoration, is used as a breeding site by frogs and toads.Facilities
