This site is all that remains of much larger area called Glentrammon Park, sold for housing in 1887. It consists largely of chalk grassland apart from a bank with mature beech and oak trees running east-west across the centre and down one side.

Description
Wildlife
The majority of the grassland is frequently mown to provide a space for ball games and other informal activities. The north-west third is managed as a wild flower meadow and contains wild thyme, hairy violet, burnet saxifrage, lady's and hedge bedstraws, dwarf thistle, marjoram and agrimony. A hay cut is taken in autumn once the wild flowers have set seed, but parts are left uncut to promote invertebrate species which overwinter or lay eggs in the bases or stems of the meadow plants.Facilities
