The ponds support many waterfowl - hundreds of coots can be seen at times, and several pairs of little grebes breed here. The emergent vegetation is confined to one patch of yellow iris. The short-cropped turf around the ponds includes slender trefoil and blinks, which is rare in London.Facilities
