Whitehorse Meadow was originally used as allotments but is now managed for nature conservation.

Wildlife

The meadow has several interesting plants including wild marjoram and common stork's-bill, but the most unusual species is garden lovage, perhaps a relic of the former allotment use. There is a pond in the area of bramble scrub.
