Wildlife

This site is split into two separate parcels. In the south of the park, the nature area consists of a block of dense wild plum scrub with young ash and pedunculate oak. There is a small meadow in the south mainly dominated by grasses including false oat-grass and Yorkshire-fog. Birds and invertebrates benefit from this mix of habitats. The second part of the site occurs along the stream along the northern boundary. Apart from the wetland habitat the other particularly fine wildlife features here are several mature pedunculate oak trees.
