Opened in 1855, Charlton Cemetery lies to the south of Repository Wood and contains some substantial areas of acid grassland. The wood contains three ponds, one of them very large, but unfortunately there is no public access to Repository Wood. There is free public access to the cemetery.

The grassland in Charlton Cemetery is dominated by common bent and fescues. Sheep's sorrel and mouse-ear hawkweed are abundant, as is prickly sedge, which is scarce in London.Facilities
