Description
Wildlife
The site is largely short mown, but contains areas of rough grassland and planted birch woodland. It also contains a few fine mature oak trees. The main nature conservation interest is a row of old oaks and hornbeams, interspersed with hawthorn, along the northern edge of the recreation ground. This is probably a relic of an ancient hedge.Facilities
