On the golf course, a tree-line on Clack Lane relieves the otherwise open nature of the fairways. There is access only along footpaths.

Description
Wildlife
Old Priory meadow presents a rich variety of wildflowers. Bankside flora on the river Pinn includes abundant nettle and hemlock water-dropwort, Indian balsam and tansy with occasional water chickweed, a locally scarce species. The southern bank beside the golf course is a rich wetland habitat, with adjacent wet grassland and a drainage ditch. The river here supports water-starwort, brooklime and fool's water-cress, with common fleabane and hemlock higher up the banks.Facilities
