Description

This section of the Longford River runs from the A30, through Feltham town centre and beyond to Browells Lane. There is public access between Staines Road and New Road. For much of the rest of the section the river runs between private gardens.

Wildlife

The river is narrow with steep banks. Plants growing out of the water include water dock and floating sweet-grass. The banks support some interesting wetland plants, including hemp-agrimony, lesser pond-sedge and meadowsweet. Little grebes nest on this section of the river.
