Wildlife

Feltham Hill Carr is a heavily horse-grazed field to the east of the site. It contains pockets of scrub of hawthorn and blackthorn and some very mature willows. There are large areas of spear thistle, which attract good numbers of wintering goldfinches and greenfinches. Still further to the east lies an area of willow woodland with an understorey of elder and hawthorn. Croft Farm is an area of re-seeded wildflower grassland. It has range of flowers including wild carrot, musk mallow, great burnet and sainfoin.
