Description
Wildlife
The brook has a few areas of emergent vegetation, such as reed, greater pond-sedge, reed sweet-grass and water mint. It is mostly fairly open, with a few scattered trees of oak and willow along its banks. The grassland is fairly species poor, with wildflowers indicative of frequently-mown swards, such as yarrow, daisy and lesser trefoil predominant. The shrub beds are mainly ornamental with dogwood interspersed with trees such as rowan and silver birch. The area holds a range of common birds, including warblers such as willow warbler and blackcap in summer.Facilities
