Borough: Havering
Grade: Borough Grade II
Access: Free public access (all/most of site)
Area: 0.23 ha

Description

This attractive churchyard includes flowery grassland with some fine mature trees, a small area of dense scrub and woodland along the southern boundary.

Wildlife

There are areas of moderately diverse neutral to slightly acid grassland. These contain frequent bird's-foot-trefoil, burnet saxifrage, common knapweed, field woodrush, germander speedwell and mouse-ear hawkweed. Beds of nettles are retained to attract butterflies. The scrub and woodland includes outgrown field maple and hazel coppice and is likely to be of value to breeding birds. There are a few mature oaks and a line of large common limes.
