Description

This site covers a significant section of the Bonesgate Stream, between Chessington Wood and Castle Hill.

Wildlife

The river occupies a natural meandering course here. It is overhung by riverbank trees of ash, hawthorn, oak, field maple and crack willow. As it is heavily shaded, there is little vegetation in the river.
