Chelsfield Hill is mainly formed of herb-rich chalk grassland at the top of a number of steep, south-facing gardens. In the north of the site is an area of ancient woodland, composed of oak, beech and ash. The only access is via a footpath between Worlds End Lane and Sevenoaks Road.
