Description

This is a sizeable churchyard with plenty of mature trees, used for environmental education by a nearby primary school.

Wildlife

Trees on this site are mostly lime and London plane. The grass between the graves, though kept tidy, is not over-manicured, allowing a profusion of common wildflowers, such as cat's ear, autumnal hawkbit and common mallow. The gravestones support good growths of lichens, though these have never been studied in detail.
