A village green pond with a good range of aquatic plants.

Wildlife

The pond plant community includes broad-leaved and curled pondweeds, as well as rigid hornwort growing beneath the water's surface. Some of the water's edge plants were probably originally planted, but all are well established. They include greater spearwort and both blue and hybrid water-speedwells, all rare plants in London.
