This small open space lies on the side of a steep hill and has been allowed to return to something approaching its natural state. It is managed by Southwark Council with support from the Friends of Dawson’s Hill group, mostly for its wildlife. The site is used for local events, and a number of educational leaflets have also been published. Local schools make good use of the site.
