Description

This is a small children’s playground and garden, in a heavily built up area just to the north of Marylebone Road.

Wildlife

Trees at this site are mostly non-native species such as London plane, Norway maple, roble and a cultivar of white willow. There are two areas of grass, which are allowed to grow fairly long; these contain abundant buttercups - both the expected creeping buttercup and the less common meadow buttercup, a small patch of lesser celandine, and more common species such as common nettle and white deadnettle. Shrubbery along a boundary wall merges with Russian vine, ornamental honeysuckle, and wisteria to provide nesting cover. Blackbirds nest in the garden.
