Description

This is a tiny public garden in the Westbourne Park area, supporting a surprising range of birds for its size.

Wildlife

Kildare Gardens is a shady site, with a framework of mature lime trees, and traditional perimeter shrubbery, with spotted laurel, privet, bamboo and lauristinus offering cover. There is also a small lawn and flowerbeds.Across the road at the southern end, a narrow strip of trees, including lime and false-acacia, with further shrubbery provides additional habitat. Breeding birds include woodpigeon, dunnock, blue tit, great tit and blackbird.
