Description
Wildlife
The principal interest of this churchyard lies in the flora of the tombs and the old walls. The small but attractive Rue-leaved saxifrage occurs at its only known site in Bromley, with common whitlow-grass and dark mullein also found on the walls. The tombstones have an excellent lichen flora, with 40 species, including several uncommon ones. The site also includes a neutral grassland on clay-with-flint soil, which supports a variety of common grasses and wild flowers. Along with shrubs and trees this supports a diverse range of birds and butterflies. Spotted flycatcher has bred here in recent years.Facilities
