Description

This site includes a large area of woodlands and interconnected scrub-edged fields, lying within the Green Belt between Chislehurst and the Sidcup By-pass to the east of Kemnal Road. Some of the woods are private, others have free access, and the only access through the site is via public footpaths.

Wildlife

Some of the woods are most likely to be ancient. Adjacent fields contain some fine veteran oaks, likely to have high value for invertebrates. A series of ponds and streams also occur within the site, adding to its picturesque suite of habitats.
