Wildlife
The site contains a number of scattered trees, including young beech, ash, hawthorn, flowering cherry and oak. There is an artificial stream planted with yellow iris, pendulous sedge and hard rush. The rockery gardens are planted with a number of insect-attracting species, such as rosemary, Canadian goldenrod, foxglove, Michaelmas daisy, ivy and oxeye daisy. A beech hedge runs through the site. A small pond located in the wildlife area supports frogs and has marginal vegetation such as water mint, pendulous sedge and yellow flag supports frogs, although this has restricted access.
