This attractive and well-tended Victorian cemetery contains flower-rich grassland, probably a relic from the time when this area was meadowland. It provides valuable access to nature in an area lacking accessible wildlife sites.

Wildlife
The grass is often mown very short, so the meadow flowers are not always obvious. Plants growing among the grass include grey sedge, bird's-foot-trefoil, cut-leaved and dove's-foot cranesbills and slender speedwell. There are plenty of scattered trees and shrubs. Pedunculate oaks and dog-rose, which may pre-date the landscaping of the cemetery, grow alongside planted trees such as monkey-puzzle and Turkey oak.Facilities
