Description

This site comprises a pleasant churchyard with flowery grassland, and an adjacent cemetery with bare gravel supporting uncommon plants.

Wildlife

The cemetery has an unusual habitat of bare soil and gravel, supporting a wide range of ruderal plants including wild pansy, celery-leaved buttercup (here growing in an unusually dry habitat) and several garden escapees. There are foxes present. The churchyard is a pleasant area of mostly unmanaged grassland and tall flowers with several patches of common St John's-wort and spotted medick.
