A medium sized park with three entrances. A green field site, this park was first opened to the public in 1935. Today it consists of a large area of open grassland with a raised area over an old air raid shelter. The name is believed to be inspired by the location – close to Beavers Farm.
Facilities include two play areas for children and toddlers, tennis courts and a multi sports area created from former tennis courts. There are four rockers, a play house, swings and play area for the under 5s. There’s also a carousel, multi play area, climbing frame and swings for the over 5s. Seating for adults is provided.
