The 4 kilometre stretch of the Beverley Brook between Richmond Park and the River Thames is of variable quality, running in places between gardens and in others through open spaces. The best place to access this section of the Brook is between Putney Lower Common and the River Thames, which is followed by the Beverley Brook Walk.

Description
Wildlife
Where it has natural banks, and is not too shaded by trees and shrubs, dense and diverse marginal vegetation has established. Wetland plants found at the water's edge include great yellow-cress, reedmace and water pepper, all rather scarce in London. The invasive non-native species, Nuttal's waterweed is probably widespread. Britain's most spectacular damselfly, the banded demoiselle has been seen in good numbers along parts of the water course. The invasive non-native species Himalayan Balsam is widespread.Facilities
