Opened in 2022 Alfred Place Gardens, was the first new park in this area for over 25 years. The Gardens are shaded by old London Plane trees, and run along Alfred Park, with long stretches of furniture that provide a wide range of places to sit and relax, alongside a lawn and play equipment for children. Sloping areas of diverse planting encourage biodiversity.
