Bowes Meadow, which opened as a park on 15 December 2016, is a large grassed green space beside Pymmes Brook on what was once private land. The park has a large play space comprising of swings, basket seats, a jungle area, ground trampolines and landscaping. A Multi-Use-Games-Area has a fenced all-weather surface and is marked out for football and basketball with hoops and goal posts.
