A small open space in the very heart of Streatham, surrounded by historic buildings. Originally part of ‘Tooting Bec Common’ Streatham Green is now a sloping site with paths winding through grassed areas, with mature trees and shrubs. Picnic tables, and modern sculptural seats provide places to rest. The Green is also home to the ‘Dyce Drinking Fountain’, a restored Grade II listed monument first erected by public subscription in 1862
