Together with Falcon Park, this open space is designated a Site of Local Importance. The two areas are linked by arches in a viaduct, and exist where there are very few accessible wildlife sites. Large numbers of mostly native trees have been planted, forming dense borders of scrub. An area of grassland is managed as a meadow.
