Description

This is the section of Woodcock Park to the north of the Wealdstone Brook, the brook itself being part of a separate wildlife site. This tranquil area is well used by people from the adjacent St Luke’s Hospice, as well as the Brent Healthy Walkers group – A Walking the Way to Health (WHI) scheme; see link for details.

Wildlife

This part of the park is characterised by a variety of mature native- and non-native trees with shady grassland beneath. There are a few old pedunculate oaks, as well as specimen trees such as single-leafed ash and dawn redwood. The park supports many birds that find shelter in the extensive tree canopy.
