Description

This site is a large area of hummocky rough grassland, with a hedge along its southern boundary and a large colony of common lizards.

Wildlife

The grassland is dominated by false oat-grass and is of value mainly for its very large population of common lizards, which may be seen sunning themselves throughout the spring and summer by the stealthy observer. Acid grassland species such as parsley-piert and buck's-horn plantain are also present. The hedge along the southern boundary is of English elm.
