Description

The woodland of Wayside Grove is the nearest site of wildlife value to a quite extensive area, including the Coldharbour Estate across the borough boundary in Greenwich. As a consequence, there is heavy use of the site by the public.

Wildlife

This long narrow site, consisting of two areas of native woodland, is dominated by oak and ash, separated by an area of unmanaged neutral grassland.
